Privacy Policy

OctoLoops is operated by Redskyforge, based in the Netherlands. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive.
Because we are established in the EU, the GDPR applies to everything described here. Redskyforge is the data controller, and you can reach us at davedx@gmail.com.
What we collect
- The URL you submit. We fetch the page at that address and send its content to our AI provider to produce your plan.
- Your email address, if you choose to have your plan emailed to you or you create an account. It is optional: you can get a full plan without giving us one.
- Your password, if you create an account. It is stored only as a bcrypt hash. We cannot read it.
- What the product generates for you. Your product profile, distribution plan, agent conversations, drafted comments and action lists.
- Technical usage records. Which AI calls ran, how long they took, how many tokens they used, and whether they failed. We use this to keep the product working and to understand our costs.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so your plan is still there when you come back. If you have not created an account it is an anonymous identifier that is not linked to any name or email address, and it lasts up to a year. If you sign in, a second cookie keeps you signed in for up to a year. Both are HTTP-only, so scripts on the page cannot read them. We also use Google Analytics to measure traffic.
Who else sees your data
- Google (Gemini API) processes your submitted URL, its page content and your agent conversations in order to generate your plan and run loops.
- Resend sends any email we send you, and therefore handles your address.
- Fly.io hosts the application and the database, in Amsterdam.
- Google Analytics receives standard web analytics about your visit.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your product or your URL with other users. Where we publish anything about who uses OctoLoops, we publish product categories only, never names or URLs.
Some of these providers are based outside the EEA, so your data may be transferred to them. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards in their own data processing terms, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account or your plan exists, because that is the thing you came back for. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your choices
- Email. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of them. Your plan is unaffected.
- Access, correction and deletion. Email davedx@gmail.com and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Under the GDPR you also have the right to object to processing, to request portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Dutch DPA, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We honour these rights for everyone, wherever you are.
- Cookies. Clearing them in your browser removes the link to your saved plan.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above. OctoLoops is a young product and this policy will get longer as it grows.
